Well, so here I am, all keen and qualified and ready to go, and the powers that be seem to be dragging their heels. Only a few weeks left, so little time to prepare 2 courses and allocate personnel. If only I could be shown a sign...

Always reminds me of that scene in "The man with 2 brains" where Steve Martin says to his late wife's portrait when about to date Kathleen Turner "If you don't want us to continue, show me a sign". The whole room shakes, the painting spins in circles, the walls crack, and you hear her voice going "Noooo! Nooooo! NOOOOO!!!!! No! No! No!". When she stops, he says "just show me a sign? Any sign? No? OK then."
